Artist's Description
To me it seems our ride on the wheel of life is a fleeting moment at an eternal carnival.
Poet Grace Grafton writes of that moment when our ride is over:
"As though the ferris wheel stopped with my bucket up top and all the carnival lights went out, hurdy gurdy music gone, just me and the unavoidable sky. I hadn't been to a carnival since childhood. When it came to town this past summer I decided to go, camera in tow. Hmmmm....I sure saw it with different eyes.

To quote one of my favorite poets, Mary Oliver: "How perfectly and neatly opens...
